Alessandra Facchinetti showed her 1st Valentino haute couture collection today at the Place Vendôme showroom of Valentino. Before the show, the designer revealed to Suzy Menkes of the International Herald Tribune that the show was inspired by the paintings of Anthony van Dyck.
