Women now represents Jamie Bochert

Jamie Bochert spent her early years in New Jersey, listening to Nina Simone and Muddy Waters. When she was still a child she studied dance, mainly ballet and jazz. It was not long before she was scouted for modeling. Her big break came when Steven Klein photographed her for Italian Vogue and the cover of i-D, and it was immediately clear that her unusual beauty and out-going personality would make her a muse to many in the industry.

Many top photographers have captured Jamie’s perpetually modern look. She has worked with David Sims, Mario Testino, Terry Richardson, Solve Sundsbo, Thomas Schenk, and Matthias Vriens.

In 2003 Jamie was recognized as Rolling Stone Magazine’s “Hot Model”. She has been featured in ad campaigns for an impressive range of designers and beauty companies, including D&G Dolce & Gabbana, Francois Nars, Sisley, and Furla.

Jamie took a break from modeling to focus on her music. A friend had given her a guitar and it changed her life. She writes and performs her own songs. With a voice that creeps up on you in the most alluring way, Bochert’s presence is reminiscent of a time when female vocalists ruled the world.

Marc Jacobs brought Jamie back to the fashion world by having her open his spring 2009 collection – the most coveted slot in the most coveted show in fashion. Jamie worked closely with Marc on the entire collection as the fit model. While putting the collection together, Marc asked Jamie to do the show, and she said she would love to. Having travelled the world performing her music, Jamie feels comfortable in her skin and excited to model again.
